GUC - Visible Spectrum Smartphone Iris (VSSIRIS) Database

GUC - Visible Spectrum Smartphone Iris (VSSIRIS) Database consists of iris images obtained from 28 different subjects in visible spectrum. The iris images are obtained using two different smartphone cameras (Nokia Lumia 1020 and iPhone 5S). The images are obtained in the unconstrained conditions under the mixed illumination consisting of natural sunlight and artificial room light. Each unique iris has 5 samples in the database and hence a total of 560 iris images.

Due to mandatory guidelines on privacy of the biometric data, we are in the process of obtaining the permission from Norsk samfunnsvitenskapelig datatjeneste AS (NSD) (http://www.nsd.uib.no/) , Norway to make the database available to the public. This database is made available for purely non-profitable research and academic purpose. Any use of this database shall cite the publication:
