The conference is organised by Standards of Norway. Standards Norway is a private, non-profit membership organisation. Its the biggest standardisation organisation in Norway and the Norwegian member of ISO. The former Norwegian ISO member (Norwegian Standards Association) was established in 1923 and was one of four organisations that merged and formed Standards Norway in 2003.

The conference will be the second meeting in Scandinavia for the international ISO committee, after the first Scandinavian SC 37 meeting in Stockholm four years ago. We wish the participants a very warm welcome to Norway.
