Postgraduate programme leading to a title of Bachelor of Science in Information Security.

The programme qualifies students to proceed to IT-related master studies, among others to Master of Science in Media Technology and in Information Security in HiG, in Norway and abroad.

Aims

The programme will give student a width professional foundation which is important for the future education. Graduated students can work with product development or system administration with specialties of information security aspects in data systems.

Student will get a solid background of informatics sharpened with information security issues so that they have knowledge and the needed skills inside the information security technology. The programme also gives insight in the economy and the legal framework connected to information security.

Aim group

The aim group for the studies are the pupils from secondary school. Advanced computer skills are not needed.
