NISlab will be part of FRISC value network
FRISC stands for "Forum for Research and Innovation in Secure Computing". The FRISC value network is a development of the NISNET resource network paid for by the VERDIKT program since 2007. FRISC is based on the program's pillar "Security, privacy and vulnerability".
FRISC shall contribute to the dissemination and profiling of research challenges, results and innovation in information security with an international perspective. FRISC shall also contribute with strategic recommendations to a research agenda in information security. FRISC wishes to provide a platform on which new ideas are created for new innovative products and services that can be developed and marketed by relevant actors. All this is to be achieved by establishing meeting opportunities and creating dialogue among and between researchers, companies and the public sector to exploit results of research projects. This network project comprises 16 activities over four years with 64 events in total. The network's activity will be cross-disciplinary aimed at communication technology related to VERDIKT's theme "Internet of the future". NISlab is one of the more than 30 founding members of FRISC.
